close your eyes. let your mind take you on a road trip to cape cod. van morrison blasting through your speakers, windows cracked, fresh new england breeze blowing your hair, blue skies and happy green trees and sunshine the whole way there. as you cross the bridge, you roll down the windows all the way, inhale the salt air, and shout "HELLOOO CAPE COD!" as haley and matt taught you to do (it’s tradition!). you feel free. you've arrived! you drive down the cape cod roads, find your little home for the next handful of days, check in, get settled. you call up some friends because they're all on the cape too! grab some iced coffee, delicious sammies, and head to the beach. or on a bike ride. or to a tennis court. or on a dune-buggy-tour. or a golf course. or mini-golf, if that's more your speed. or into town for some shopping and perusing. or kayaking. or to see a show at the cape playhouse. or gallery hopping. or hiking. or to the drive-in movies! or drive along old king’s highway (6A) and see where it takes you! choose your adventure is the name of the game. some of the most magical moments in our love story (including matt’s sunset proposal on the breakwater rocks of the brewster flats) took place here. and we promise, spending time with us in our happy place will never leave you the same. WE ARE SO EXCITED TO HAVE YOU! this website will be the most important tool for us to communicate all things wedding week with you, so please check it frequently! we will welcome you on friday with wood-fired pizza, clambake with you on saturday, exchange vows and dance the night away with you on sunday, and be hungover vegetables with you over brunch on monday. we hope we can encourage you to tack on a day on either end of those events (staying thursday-tuesday). use our wedding to make excuses to bosses and all the relevant parties so you can come to cape cod and really get a feel for it in all its glory! think of us as your travel guides. with over 30 years of coming to the cape, we have way more things to do + see + eat than anyone could possibly cover in a week. we know you'll fall in love, just as we have, and be come cape codders over night. and nothing would make us happier! please be on the lookout for future website + wedding updates, we LOVE you all so much, and we can't wait to be with you for our wedding week!
