We are so excited to share some of our favorite local activities:
*Fort Stanton - Established in 1855, Fort Stanton may be one of the most intact 19th-century military forts in the country and is the best-preserved fort in New Mexico. Found just outside the historic town of Lincoln and surrounded by the Lincoln National Forest, the 240-acre site is best known for its roles in the Indian Wars and the Civil War.
*Roswell UFO Museum - about an hour from Ruidoso but a must see if you are driving in and want to see all the wacky stuff
*Grindstone Lake - -hiking, kayaking, horse back riding.. Beautiful place if you want a good view
*Inn of the Mountain Gods Casino
*Funtrackers - Mini golf, go karting, bumper cars and more
*Sierra Blanca Peak
*Flying J Ranch - food and a dinner show, a definite must see (reservations required)
*Midtown - for all your shopping and souvenir needs
