Airlines

Guests can fly to George Town, Exuma (GGT) direct from Charlotte, Miami, Atlanta and Fort Lauderdale. Delta, American, Silver Airlines and BahamasAir offer the most frequent flights. It is a 15-minute drive from Exuma International Airport to downtown George Town, and taxis are readily available when you land, so no need to book a car in advance. We would highly suggest booking flights as soon as possible. March is a popular time in Exuma, and flights fill up quickly.

Thompson's Car Rental

If you would like to rent a car for wedding weekend, we’d recommend Thompson’s Car Rental. You can pick your car up right outside arrivals at the Exuma International Airport. Please note that taxis are available on island and most places are walking distance, so rental cars are not needed! Remember we drive on the left side of the road in the Bahamas.

February Point

The Tucker Family has reserved multiple villas in February Point for our guests for wedding weekend. February Point is a gated community half a mile from downtown George Town, and is where the Tuckers’ house is located. The Rusty Anchor at February Point is the location of dinner and the reception on Saturday, and the February Point Villas are a great option to stay with a group. Please reach out to Haley or Kyle directly if you are interested in staying in a villa!

Augusta Bay Resort

Augusta Bay is a beautiful boutique hotel just outside of George Town with incredible views of Elizabeth Harbour, and is our preferred hotel for wedding guests. The entire hotel will be blocked for our wedding guests from Thursday to Sunday. It is also the location of Welcome Drinks on Thursday, March 27th. When booking please refer to the discount code TUCKER2025. Transportation will be provided from Augusta Bay to wedding events throughout the weekend.

Peace & Plenty Hotel

The most historic and iconic hotel on Great Exuma, the Peace and Plenty is another great option for guests. It is located right in town and walkable to all our favorite spots, and is directly across the street from St. Andrew’s Church, our ceremony location. Please note transportation will not be provided from this hotel, but the hotel can coordinate taxis for you.
