Although Haley and Kurt both graduated in 2013 from Forney High School, attended many of the same grade schools, and even played on the same 6u soccer team, their paths did not truly cross until their late twenties. In January 2023, they reconnected with a group of old friends at a run down honky tonk called "Swingin’ Doors." Their conversations had an incredibly natural feel, and there was an instant chemistry between them as if they had been close friends for all these years. Before much time had passed, Haley and Kurt were hanging out everyday - playing tennis, pool, softball, basketball, ping pong, rock paper scissors (don't judge), dancing, and overall just being effortlessly goofy together. Their love for sports and competition led them to join Haley's mom's softball team, Justin Time, which honors Haley's late brother. They have made a ton of great memories on the field, and some would say that even today Kurt can still be seen trying to impress Haley by diving for balls in their recreational co-ed softball games. Kurt and Haley’s love is a true gift from God, and we are so excited to celebrate with everyone!
