Play a round of golf surrounded by the beautiful Wasatch Moutains, a great course with lots of awesome views. We suggest booking an early tee time or playing the back nine at dusk.
The Huntsville Monastery was a Trappist Cistercian monastery in Huntsville, Utah, founded in 1947, that is now a protected 1,050-acre conservation easement. The monks, who were mostly WWII veterans, farmed the land and were known for their hospitality, producing goods like bread and honey. The monastary is now vacant but the land has been placed in a reserve and is still farmed to this day.
Icebox Canyon is a scenic loop hike that starts from the Wheeler Creek Trailhead (off Art Nord Drive / Snowbasin area) and descends into a shady, creek-lined canyon via the Icebox trail in the Uinta‑Wasatch‑Cache National Forest. The trail features a mix of open forest, cool riparian zones, a winding stream, and wildflower meadows with a backdrop of Snowbasin. A perfect hike if you are looking to spend some time outdoors but want to stay in the shade.

This is one of Kolbe's favorite stops any time he comes to visit his family. The store's famous slogan, "We have everything you want, if you can find it!" perfectly sums up the experience.
A historic little bar which is a great place to get a beer or a burger. Not only the oldest bar in the state, but the oldest bar west of the Mississippi. The building was construced in 1850 and sits just accross the street from the Mercantile, where our reception will be hosted.
