How do I RSVP?

Answer

Scroll down until you see an empty box where you write your name. 5.) Type your first and last name in the box and click Continue. The next page is where you select if you are or if you are not attending the wedding. 6.) Submit your response 7.) You're all done! Thank you so much for RSVP'ing! We truly appreciate it so much!

Question

What happens if I do not RSVP?

Answer

The couple will have to reach out to you directly via text or phone call if you have not let us know your attendance status by September 1st. Therefore, please RSVP as soon as possible by scanning the QR code on the back of the invitation. This helps the couple keep track of an accurate headcount!

Question

What should I do if I am unsure about my availability for the wedding?

Answer

You should still proceed to RSVP shortly after you've received the invitation. Select the option that best fits your judgement of your availability for the wedding in that moment. As it gets closer to the wedding, directly reach out to Haley and Kevin to inform them if any changes have occurred since the time you RSVP'd. This must be done by September 1st.

Question

Do I have to stay overnight at the Sea Shell Resort & Beach Club?

Answer

No, but you can stay at the Sea Shell if you would like. There are alternative booking options available near the Sea Shell as well, such as other hotels and inns nearby. We've just listed some available choices for you but feel free to stay where you would like!

Question

How do I successfully book a reservation to stay at The Sea Shell Resort and Beach Club?

Answer

Firstly, The Sea Shell is closed until April but receptionists are in periodically to help guests secure reservations during the off season. Just a reminder, it will open again in mid-April, and at that point the resort will have receptionists in daily. During their off season you will need to either call or email to secure a booking. You will not get a live receptionist on the phone if you call while the resort is closed. The Sea Shell operates off of a voicemail system. A receptionist will return your voicemail within 48 business hours to help secure your booking. *Attention* You cannot book through their online system. If you try to use their online booking system, it will appear as though they are sold out because the rooms are already held for our guests. If you choose to call, you should call 609-492-4611 ext.1 and make sure to leave a message with a phone number you can be reached during business hours and you must reference both our last names for the specific wedding block. The Sea Shell has a few couples with similar last names this year so referencing both names is important to ensure that you get in the correct room block. Also, The Sea Shell has a remote email team that can help you book via email. This team does not have access to the resort’s phone system so if you choose to book via email you will be asked to email credit card info. If you are uncomfortable doing so, you should be encouraged to call to book instead. If you choose to email, you can send email inquiries to groupbookings@theseashellresort.com.

Question

Do I have to attend the breakfast the morning after the wedding?

Answer

No, this is optional for everyone. However, there will be a breakfast buffet available from 8-11 AM downstairs on the first floor at the Sea Shell. There will be plenty of food and beverages available to accomodate for all guests attending the wedding, even if you choose to not stay at the Sea Shell. Therefore you're all welcomed and encouraged to join us as we wrap up our special weekend.

Question

Do guests have to wear shoes of any type on the beach during the ceremony?

Answer

No, shoes will be optional for guests. There will be a shoe drop area available to you before you step onto the sand if you would like to go barefoot. This may be the best option for ladies who want to wear heels for the reception. Shoes are only required for people involved in the wedding party for the ceremony.
