I had just started cosmetology school, and a mutual friend of ours decided to introduce Kade and I. We hardly even spoke the first time we met until he gave me directions to get back home. I ignored his instructions and went my own route.. this led to sliding into the ditch and getting stuck in the mud. Kade then had to come find me and pull me out of the road. I obviously made a great first impression.. Fast forward about a month.. I was in the hospital for a couple of days, and Kade was one of the very few people who contiuously checked up on me. The night I was released from the hospital, I went to our friends house- I was exhausted and groggy from the hospital visit, but I knew Kade would be there, so I had to go. Fast forward another month.. Kade asked me out on our first real date to a movie. We went on a few more dates before he asked me to be his girlfriend. (Right after telling me I looked like Cindy Lou Who because I had a messy bun on the top of my head.. not sure why I said yes after that, but thank God I did❤️)

Kade and I took a trip to Las Vegas for the NFR. I knew he was going to propose on the trip, but wasn’t sure when, where, or how. I knew this because I’m terrible with surprises and ruin things for myself.. oops.. I actually picked out an outfit and told him it was my favorite in case he decided to ask me something important while I was in it. Kade had originally planned to reserve the top of the Eiffel Tower Restaurant with the proposal package. He booked the entire thing, planned the night out, all of it. He then received a phone call from them saying that someone had already reserved the entire place for the night. Kade was obviously pretty upset about his plans being ruined, so as we headed out of the hotel for the day, he got on a knee and said “I can’t carry this ring any longer... will you marry me?” It wasn’t his original plan, but it was definitely a “Kade” thing, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. I cannot WAIT to marry my best friend❤️ (BTW, he did not pop the question in my fav outfit😜)
