FAQs

Question

Where should we stay?

Answer

There are lots of hotels in the Bar Harbor area. We will be staying at the Bar Harbor Inn, but please feel no pressure to do the same, as it is pricey. If you do choose to stay here, we recommend sharing a room, please reach out to us if you need help coordinating! The Rose Eden Cottages are right across the street from Sweet Pea Cafe (our reception venue) and were recommended to us as a cheaper option. Another great option is the Bar Harbor Motel, this is where we have stayed in the past and had a very good experience, its an excellent cheaper (ish) option. Please feel free to find what hotel works best for you, there are over 20 options in the Bar Harbor area. All guests MUST book their hotels early if they are planning to stay over. This is a vacation destination, and hotels typically sell out before March of that year, but sometimes you can get last minute stays. Please also note that hotels outside of the Bar Harbor area also sell out quickly, but are cheaper. Please text either Justin or Haley if you need any assistance at all. We want everyone who is invited to be able to celebrate with us!

Question

When should we arrive?

Answer

We will be hosting a Welcome Party in the downtown Bar Harbor area Saturday evening. If you are interested in attending, we recommend arriving by at least Saturday afternoon. Otherwise, please arrive at your convenience.

Question

When does the wedding weekend end?

Answer

All events will be over by Sunday night. We do not have anything scheduled past the reception.

Question

What should we wear?

Answer

Ladies - Formal attire! Please dress colorful and fun!! Long dresses only! Be careful with shoe choices as the entire day will be outside, including grassy areas. I will not be offended by a comfy shoe! Gentlemen - Semi-Formal attire! Think long dress pants (khakis), no shorts! Please wear at least a buttoned shirt with a collar (jacket and tie optional). Also keep in mind this is an outdoor event!

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Unfortunately we are only allowed 50 guests at our wedding. Plus ones will come on a case to case basis and will depend on the number of guests attending the wedding.

Question

When do I have to RSVP by?

Answer

In order for us to assess availability for plus ones, we ask that you RSVP for yourself as soon as possible. But at the latest, please RSVP by May 1st 2026. Please let me know if you have any questions about this :)
