What is the dress code?
Answer
The dress code is cocktail attire with an emphasis on color. Our wedding will be colorful and we would love for people to lean in to that! For men - wear a suit or sport coat. Think about adding fun colors through your choice of shirt, pants or tie. For women - this is your chance to ditch the black dress and add a pop of color. Whether that be through your dress, shoes, or purse!

Have you reserved hotel room blocks for your wedding?
Answer
Yes. Please find information about room blocks on the "accommodations and travel" page. Please note: an event is happening in Akron the weekend of August 15 so hotel rooms are limited. We suggest booking your room early.

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?
Answer
Please arrive by 4pm for the 4:30pm ceremony to ensure we can start on time.

When should I RSVP by?
Answer
Please RSVP by Tuesday, July 1 on the RSVP page of our website. Simply click on the RSVP tab, enter your name, and indicate your attendance and food preference for everyone in your party. If you are having trouble with RSVPing online or need to change your RSVP, please contact us at kimwedding816@gmail.com.

The wedding ceremony and reception is at Gather at the Lakes. The address is 4315 Manchester Rd, Akron, OH 44319.

Will there be a shuttle to and from the wedding venue?
Answer
Yes. A shuttle bus will pick up and drop off from the Residence Inn. The shuttle bus will leave the hotel promptly at 4pm to go to the venue. The bus will have scheduled times to go back to the hotel at 7:30pm, 9:30pm, and 11pm. If you need to go back at another time, you can ask the driver to take you.

Yes, there is ample parking at Gather at the Lakes.

Can I bring a guest?
Answer
We are not allowing additional plus-ones to our wedding, as we'd like to keep the guests list just to those who know us well. The name of every guest invited to attend will be listed on your invitation and no additional guests can be accommodated.

Are children allowed?

We love your children, but due to limited space we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation.

Yes, cash gifts are welcome.

When you RSVP, please let us know if you have any dietary restrictions, and we’ll do our best to accommodate them.

Will the wedding be taking place indoors or outdoors?
Answer
Weather permitting, the ceremony will take place outdoors in a shaded area. Cocktail hour and the reception will be indoors.
