Great question! We all know the food is the best part of a wedding. Lucky you and welcome to Memphis - this will be the most delicious food! There will be a smoker on site for all of the meats, so you can smell and enjoy a freshly smoked meal. Entree options: • Grilled Chicken • Pork Butt • BBQ Bologna (the best you’ll ever have!) Sides: • Chips & dip (feel free to make BBQ nachos!) • Corn on the Cob • Slaw Drinks: • Sweet tea • Lemonade • Juice • Water Dessert: • Cake
The dress code is “dressy casual”. It will be an August night in Memphis! So, if we had to guess… it will be very humid and warm. The wedding begins at 7pm, as we hope the evening time helps everyone to stay cool. The wedding is at a golf course, so you will be walking on grass for the ceremony. We will have handheld paper fans for each guest. For everyone, we encourage you to dress for the heat. The only clothing items we ask you to avoid are denim and flip flops! For men, tuxedos and suits are not required. The venue is a golf course. So, if you want to sport your best golf polo, there is no better time than now. For women, wear anything that keeps you cool! Dresses, skirts, matching sets, etc. As a reminder, the venue is a golf course and the ceremony will be on a grassy area. Please keep this in mind as stiletto heels will likely sink into the grass.
Our wedding will be a dry event with no alcohol served. We wanted to put it here now, so you can’t get mad at us later - ha! There will be delicious sweet tea, lemonade, juice and plenty of water to drink!
Yes, we have a wedding registry! You can find all the details on the Registry tab of our website!
The ceremony will start at 7pm. Please arrive 15-30 minutes before the ceremony to get settled.
Yes! Please see the travel page on our website for recommended stays. We only recommended places we would stay ourselves. We assure you anywhere on the list is safe, but also in a fun location with food and shopping close by!
Rain or shine, the celebration continues! Please bring umbrellas if rain is in the forecast. Rest assured, there will be a massive carnival-sized tent for the ceremony and reception if rain is in the forecast.
There will be parking available at the golf course. Please follow the signage to park in the lot closest to the event. There may still be golfers on the course before the wedding, so parking in the correct lot will be important!
We hope you see this before the event and not right before. People get lost often when arriving to the golf course. Your Apple Maps should take you to the correct entrance. I believe Google Maps is sometimes the issue. The venue is on Woodstock Cuba Road, so if you are entering on any other street… turn around! If you have any problems on the night of, please call … (number will be updated soon).
Yes, children are welcome to attend the wedding celebration if they were invited! There is limited space at the venue, so we tried to accommodate as many families as possible. If you want to double check that your child is invited, review the RSVP tab or feel free to text Haley or Joey!
