Question

Details on the After Party?

Answer

We are hosting an after party at Bodega starting directly after the wedding (23 Ann Street)! While this is walkable from the Cedar Room we also wanted to offer Uber Codes to cover safe rides over. Use this link: https://r.uber.com/r8ry7e9F6cJ

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Black Tie Invited - we'd love for you to use this opportunity to break out your tux if you happen to have one but a dark suit will work, too! Floor length dresses are also welcome!

Question

Any suggestions for the time between ceremony and reception?

Answer

If you need a little caffeine, there are tons of local coffee shops such (as well as Starbucks) close to the church. Mercantile&Mash also serves coffee and treats and is located in the same building as the reception. If you're ready to get the party started, we recommend grabbing a drink at either Bay Street Biergarten which is about halfway between the church and reception or Bar Mash, next door to the Cedar Room! We've been praying for good weather, so hopefully you can enjoy a stroll down King Street as well.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

St. Patrick Church has parking available in a lot adjacent to the church as well as at the Parish office located diagonally across the intersection of Radcliff and St. Phillips. There is also street parking, and the closest public parking garage is located .3 miles away at the Visitors Center Parking Garage, 63 Mary St, Charleston. The garage is approximately a 6 minute walk from the church. For the reception, guests may park in the Cigar Factory lot on a first come, first served basis. This lot has 150 parking spaces and is shared with other building tenants - signage says "Tenants Only," however this does not apply to the evening. There is an additional lot on the other side of Columbus street which is available as well as on-street parking in the surrounding areas

Question
