FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please refer to the printed invitation received in the mail for RSVP date.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Yes! We are registered at Amazon and the link can be found in the "Registry" tab on this website.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will officially begin at 1 pm within the church. We encourage arriving 30 to 20 minutes early to find seating within the church. Additionally, the location of Addison is beautiful and we encourage enjoying the scenery as you travel to this special place.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We love you regardless of how you look, but if you'd like to dress to the theme florals and bright or pastel colors are encouraged.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If you would like to bring a date, please clear it with either of us (James or Haley) so we can keep track of the headcount for both the ceremony and reception.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We are asking that no children under the age of 18 attend the wedding.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

As Addison is a more remote location, there are limited hotel options available. We are considerate that some guests are traveling farther than others and will have any recommendations within the "Travel" tab of this website. Airbnb is another option for finding a place to stay for the festivities.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes of course. We want all our guests to feel safe and valued. Please text Ashley (Maid of Honor) at 207-680-6847 and let her know of your food sensitivities.

Question

Will the reception be catered?

Answer

Yes! The food will be on the lighter side, as the reception is in the early afternoon. There will be sandwiches, various salads, snack boards, chips, etc. Coffee and various iced teas will also be available.

Question

Is the wedding a dry occasion?

Answer

Yes. The reception will be held in the church within a separate space from the ceremony, therefore no alcohol will be allowed within the building during the event.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

The church has a parking lot, though it is moderately sized, so please consider carpooling if possible. Additional parking options will be added to this answer at a later time.
