We're getting married!

I walked home from school instead of taking the bus one day and decided to go get a pint of my favorite ice cream from the closest grocery store. I didn't want to go home just yet so I stopped at a run-down Chinese restaurant a friend of mine worked at the time to get a spoon so I could dig in. As I arrived, Ian had just begun his shift. I absolutely fell in love with his smile and ended up staying there talking for hours until I got kicked out by the owner. Something clicked so here we are 3 years later engaged and I couldn't be more thankful.

It was our 3 year anniversary and unfortunately I had gotten us both sick. After getting several boxes of tissues from the store, he surprised me by taking us out for a nice breakfast. When we got home, we laid in bed to watch tv together. I ended up falling asleep soon after. While I was still asleep, he had taken my phone and called my closest friends and family to let them in on the big surprise. After I was awake for a little bit, he drove us to the park where I saw our family and friends. I walked into the gazebo with him following and as I turned around he got down on one knee. I cried along with everybody else watching as I said yes and he put the ring on my finger. We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you soon!
