Wedding Party

Alix Gershun

Maid of Honor

Alix is Haley's oldest and closest friends. Meeting freshman year of high school during tryouts for the soccer team, they have been inseparable ever since. Alix and Haley do almost everything together. Although going away to colleges that were 331 miles apart, they always made time to see each other, whether it was Alix cheering Haley on at fall soccer games, or Haley driving up to surprise Alix for her birthday in the spring. During their spring semester of sophomore year in college they were even able to travel abroad together meeting up in the south of Spain. There are too many memories to count, but the fondest have always been shared together.

Phil Hackett

Best Man

Phil is Hudson’s younger and only brother. Growing up across the world required them to depend on one another for entertainment (mostly Hudson asking Phil to throw a ball around). Over the years they continued to grow closer and now share many of the same hobbies, such as mountain biking, rock climbing, and craft beer. Phil has taken over as the best athlete in the family but that doesn’t stop the constant competition.

Maddie Meehan

Bridesmaid

Maddie and Haley became close friends very quickly during their time in grad school in Boston, MA. They quickly bonded over their shared interests, specifically their competitiveness when it came to trivia nights at bars. Although Haley had spent the past 4 years of undergrad in Boston, Maddie quickly introduced Haley to all things Chicago, taking her to Cubs and Blackhawks games, and ensuring she wore the Chicago gear proud. In return, Haley showed her the East Coast summer life, by taking her to Cape Cod with her family. #MeehanMoser4ever

Kyle Moser

Groomsman

Kyle is Haley's younger brother, and therefore Hudson's new brother-in-law. Although separated by 10 years to the month, Hudson and Kyle have grown close over the years. Spending many holidays, family weekends, and family vacations together, they quickly bonded through time spent sitting on the couch awaiting for the next course in a Moser family meal. When both are present, leftovers are rare.

Maggie Sheetz

Bridesmaid

Maggie and Haley lived on the same floor freshman year of college, and were both a part of the Emerson soccer team. The first memory they share is watching Elf together one night in September in Maggie's dorm room setting the tone for the rest of this friendship. After finally living together Junior year, they quickly looked for an apartment to share the memories of senior year, only that Maggie was going to spend the first semester all the way across the country in CA. Cramming everything they could into second semester senior year, there are too many memories to count although the time apart set them up perfectly to make this long distance friendship work.

Matt Hart

Groomsman

Matt (Hart) and Hudson first met on the lacrosse fields at Wheaton college freshman year and instantly became close friends. So much so they decided to live together for the remainder of college where they shared a love for Franzia Thursdays, Natural Ice, Taylor Swift and much more that wouldn't be fit to include here. Now you can find them drinking a craft beer after a day of mountain biking or skiing.

Meaghan Lackie

Bridesmaid

Meaghan and Haley are cousins, although often telling strangers they are sisters, and have been inseparable since Haley was born. Everything Meaghan did, Haley wanted to do too. They quickly became obsessed with Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen, as well as anything Lizzy McGuire. I'm sure they both could quickly recall the many dance routines they made up in Haley's basement to the Lizzy McGuire soundtrack (don't tempt them). Often only living a state away, and in the best case, in the same town, they spent many holidays together but especially every Christmas Eve. It was a hard transition when Meaghan moved to Scotland to live with her husband, but both know they are only a phone call and Facetime away.

James Gotoff

Groomsman

James and Hudson also met on the lacrosse fields of Wheaton. James had the pleasure of living across the hall from Hart and Hudson, providing well-timed judgemental commentary on their antics that continue to this day. Despite James’ “constructive criticism”, you can always count on him to make the trip to visit, even if it's unannounced.

Katie Hart

Bridesmaid

Katie and Haley quickly became friends through their significant others. Now they like to ensure the boys know, they would be friends without them, because it's true. No matter the weekend location, from Vermont ski weekends, to Maine summer weekends, Haley and Katie can be found sharing a bottle of red wine while Katie convinces Haley to do something out of her comfort zone. Whether it be putting skis on after a 7 year hiatus, or getting on a mountain bike, Haley will always say yes knowing they get to share these memories together.

Chad Wrisley

Groomsman

Special agent Chad Wrisley is also a Wheaton lacrosse alumni and back injury survivor. Chad is now known as the law enforcement expert within the friend group, though he is yet to actually get anyone out of a speeding ticket. Maybe he’s saving the get out of jail free card for something big?

Rachel Carr

Bridesmaid

Rachel and Haley have known each other almost as long as Haley and Hudson's relationship. Meeting over a Memorial Day weekend at Lime Rock park for the races, the friendship quickly blossomed. Their shared love for trying new meals, new wines, and new craft beers as well as playing multiple rounds of Settlers of Catan in one sitting has made for many late nights and great memories shared together.

Jared Carr

Groomsman

Jared and Hudson have been friends since Hudson’s freshman year of high school at Rocky Hill. They quickly bonded over their passion for lacrosse and formed quite the unstoppable beer pong duo. Throughout the years the beer pong has dwindled but the friendship remains. Now Hudson comes and visits Jared and Rachel for the good company, food, wine, and of course, the dogs.

Alec Battista

Bridesman

Alec and Haley are only 9 months apart, and have grown up together. Opposite of Sam, Alec was Haley's first younger brother before her actual brother was born 7 years later. During their many shared family vacations and holidays, if Haley was crying, the infamous question was "What did Alec do?". Alec liked to test out his new tricks on Haley (who was and maybe still is as gullible as they come), and more often than not these tricks ended with Haley crying and Alec being yelled at. Like most siblings do, they came out on the other side as best friends, and even lived in Boston at the same time during college and after graduation. Plus, Alec has since made up for the tricks by providing Haley and her friends with free drinks during his time as bartender in Boston.

Dave Curtis

Groomsman

Dave and Hudson also go back to the days at Rocky Hill. Dave’s now the one planning exciting adventures. An example includes the time Dave invited Hudson to join him on a 10 day ski trip to Switzerland remaining one of Hudson’s all-time favorite trips. In addition to going on epic trips, Dave can also be seen ensuring the group has full drinks and good vibes.

Sam Battista

Bridesman

Sam and Haley have known each other from the day Haley was born. Although not technically family by blood, they've grown up together and have called each other siblings for as long as they can remember. Growing up across the street from each other, with parents who were also best friends, made for many shared holidays and vacations. Sam was the older brother Haley never had, and he made sure he filled the role, embarrassing her in front of friends whenever he got a chance.

Remy Corvese

Groomsman

Remy and Hudson also became close friends at Rocky Hill. Hudson likes to think his talents on the soccer field brought them together, but we all know that couldn’t have been the case. Throughout the years many memories have been made, making for great stories to share today. One includes the summer of 2012 which was spent painting Remy’s house with Jared using some interesting engineering methods. Although they live farther apart nowadays, when reunited, it’s just like old days.
