I’m not saying it was love at first sight because we met in full Halloween mask and makeup as Harley Quinn and the Joker at the Halfway to Halloween event in 2016, but what we both felt was an instant connection the moment we spotted each other. We lost contact with each other however and went about our lives but I always had him on my mind. Periodically I would search for him on social media trying to reconnect but with no luck. I finally gave up the search in 2018..and just 2 weeks later I got a message from my coworker with a picture of Garret sitting at my job, holding his phone number written on a napkin for me! I screamed I was so shocked! I called him immediately. He said “well hello there” and I knew I was never going to lose him again. We’ve been together ever since and on a spooky Friday, January 13th, 2023 he proposed!
