Due to current conditions with COVID-19, we have elected to reduce our wedding capacity to immediate family and bridal party. This allows us to happily marry this year, while keeping all of our family and friends safe. We would love for you to join us in celebrating on May 29th virtually, via the Zoom link that will be found on the schedule tab. Outside of the bridal party and parents, we will not be having any guests in attendance. The ceremony will be held at 4 o'clock Mountain Standard Time and will be streamed for all family and friends to see. We wish we could hug you in person, but cant wait to see your smiling faces through Zoom. Thank you for celebrating with us from afar!
We both chose to adventure out of state to the University of Montana for college. We found friendship in a great group of people, who brought us together. After years of friendship, Garret sought out more, via facetime to see my new golden pup, Finn. A few chats later, who knew Finn would become our first dog, followed shortly by Brooks the black lab. We spent 4.5 years long distance as we sought graduate programs and new jobs. Now we're together with our dogs under one roof in our new home in Boise, ID.
We spent our first-weekend "staycation" together on Whidbey Island. Amongst our many years of long-distance dating, we didn't get many of these kinds of weekends. 4 years later, we were "going for a drive" up to Whidbey with the dogs, passing through Deception Pass on the way. We stopped for a look from a scenic point over Puget Sound, hiked a muddy mile to the top, and Garret dropped down on one knee. It was picturesque, and we followed up with a dog filled celebration on the beach. The day was topped off with the surprise of a beautiful stay at The Inn at Langley to celebrate that evening.
