The National WWII Museum
This is one of Dixon’s favorite attractions in New Orleans. If you visit be prepared to spend around 5-6 hours of your day because there is a lot to see!
Cafe Beignet, Decatur Street
Cafe Beignet is our preferred beignet place in New Orleans! We believe it’s better than the infamous Cafe Du Monde, but you will have to be the judge for yourself! It also helps that the crowd is not quite as bad! Our favorite thing to order is an Iced cafe au Lait with an order of classic beignets. There are 4 locations near the French quarter: Decatur St., Canal St., Bourbon St., and Royal St.
French Market - Shops of the Colonnade
The French Market is the perfect place to find some bargain souvenirs and Unique Gifts! They also have artist and food vendors.
St. Louis Cathedral
The St. Louis Cathedral is a MUST SEE in Jackson Square and is an important historical site in New Orleans. It is free to go in and tour as long as Mass is not taking place.
