Hawkins Pac-Out

Hyde Park
A fun, walkable area full of restaurants and shops. Try Java for coffee and breakfast, Hyde House for dinner, and Goody's for sweets. Camel's Back Park is a great place to read a book, access hiking trails, or discover the slack-lining stars of tomorrow.
Flying M Coffee House
A charming favorite spot to grab a coffee and pastry in the heart of downtown. DC recommends the no-bake chocolate peanut butter cookies.
Fanci Freez
Walkable from either Downtown or The North End, nothing beats a Fanci Freez dip cone on a warm summer night. The variety and quality of their dip cones cannot be overstated. Go eat a dip cone!
Boise River Greenbelt
A great paved trail for biking, running, or walking. The Greenbelt runs for several miles along the Boise River, connecting several riverside parks.
Basque Block
Boise has one of the largest Basque populations in the US, and the Basque Block downtown is a great place to sample Basque food and culture. We recommend the croquetas at Bar Gernika.
Tony's Pizzeria Teatro
A Hepworth family favorite, Tony's is the place for fantastic Neapolitan pizza. Located in the heart of downtown, right next to the historic Egyptian Theater. This little spot is perfect for lunch or dinner and a glass of wine. Ask about the off-menu #14 pizzas!
Boise Farmers Market
A downtown Farmer's Market open Saturday from 9am to 1pm. A great place to check out some good food and local artisans.
The Record Exchange

Bogus Basin
If you're looking for a little recreation and adventure, head up the hill to Bogus Basin. The ski hill offers summer chair-lift access for hiking, mountain biking, and sight-seeing, as well as horse trails and the Glade Runner Mountain Coaster.
