We both swiped right on Tinder! We met 1 week later at the Penn State vs Michigan football game at Beaver Stadium. We had our official first date the following week. Before we had our first date, we both said how we didn’t believe the saying “you just know.” Turns out, that after our first date he “just knew,” but it took her a little longer.

Either he did great at keeping it a secret or she’s just gullible. Probably a little bit of both! He had a reason for everything that day & she just didn’t question it. She was under the impression it was a get together celebrating their friends that just bought a new house (this part was true so it was easy for her to believe). Her heart was in her throat & to this day, she doesn’t remember a word he said when he was on his knee. Her reaction was less than romantic & not appropriate to put here, but she will share if asked. We didn’t know it then, but it turned out that would be the last time we saw one of our friends & are forever grateful he was able to be there to see the proposal.
