What is an open house-style celebration?

Answer

Rather than having a formal reception with a sit-down meal, we have opted to host a semi-formal evening. With that, the doors will open at 5:00PM and will close at 9:30PM. Guests may come and go as they please. We will be serving hors d'oeuvres and desserts, and, yes, there will be an open bar. We will have a first dance with each other at 7:00PM, followed by dances with our parents at 7:15PM.

How do I know if I am invited to the ceremony?

Your invitation will indicate if you are invited to both the ceremony and the open house or only the open house. Your RSVP here will also have you RSVP for two events rather than one. If you have any questions, you can always reach out to us as well.

Are my children invited?

Answer

We are asking that you leave any kiddos younger than 13 at home for this evening. We want everyone to be able to enjoy and have a fun date night away!

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

If we have accounted for a plus one for you, you will see your name as well as "guest" when you RSVP here. We have accounted for a plus one for most everyone with a significant other.

What is the dress code?

Answer

We are planning a semi-formal celebration and would love to see guests in corresponding attire. Please avoid denim and shades of white.

What is the parking situation?

Answer

Horticultural Hall does not have a parking lot, so street parking is the only option. Because of this, we do recommend walking or getting an Uber/Lyft to the venue.
