Cody and Haley met through their jobs at Bergstrom. Haley had just started as the receptionist in June when she noticed a new guy walk through those large silver doors. From that moment on, they were friendly in passing, nothing more at first. - That changed when their boss asked them to take a specific car through the car wash and jokingly called it their “first date.” After returning the car to the lot, they went their separate ways, laughing about how they might have more “dates” like that in the future. - Not long after, Haley decided to be the bold one and asked Cody for his Snapchat, innocent enough, right? He agreed, and soon they planned their first hangout outside of work, making a tie blanket together. From there, something special started to grow. They spent as much of their free time together as they could, talking, laughing, and getting to know each other. - In November 2020, Cody finally asked Haley out, and their relationship has been full of unforgettable memories ever since. From traveling to different states, picking up new hobbies, and trying new restaurants, to simply making their home their favorite place to be together, they’ve built a life rooted in love and a whole lot of fun. - They’ve supported each other through everything, from job changes to the heartbreaking loss of their soul cat, Noonie. Through it all, they’ve remained best friends, always showing up for one another. - So when Cody proposed on December 20, 2025, it only made sense for Haley to say “of course!.” Even though he originally planned to propose on their anniversary in the U.P. at their favorite place (Auntie Teri's), but thanks to the crazy snowstorm and the jeweler not having the ring ready he quickly adjusted. And the moment turned out to be perfect anyways because in the end, it wasn’t about timing, it was about who was waiting on one knee. - As they step into this next chapter, they’re excited to keep creating a lifetime of memories together, filled with laughter and all the little moments that mean the most. And they feel incredibly lucky to be surrounded by such amazing family and friends who have supported them and been part of their story every step of the way.
