Carmon's rents out adjacent parking lots where you will be able to park! See the above photo for the entrance and locations of the parking lots. You can also follow the signage near the venue when you arrive.
Yes! Both the ceremony and reception will be at Carmon's. Due to this, we will need to transition the room from the ceremony arrangement to the reception layout. After the ceremony, please feel free to pick up a drink on us at one of the two bar locations in the rear of the space. Please also feel free to ascend the stairs near the bathrooms to another space where you can mingle and lounge while we prepare for the reception.
Please feel free to come as you are! If you are looking for some guidance, however, semi-formal attire is the name of the game. Also for your dress planning information, the wedding and reception will be entirely indoors.
We will have Punch! bar service available after the wedding ceremony - while we transition to the reception setup, the bar will be open. Please enjoy a soda/pop or drink on us while you wait for the reception to begin. After this cocktail hour, you will have one drink ticket to redeem from your place setting at your assigned table - please enjoy either a signature His or Hers cocktail or different drink on us during our toasts. Outside of this drink ticket, the bar service will remain open until the reception closes around 9 pm as a cash bar.
Yes! The Hyatt Place will run a shuttle to Carmon's starting at 2 pm on Saturday. It is about a 10-minute round trip. To return to the hotel, simply call (217) 531-2800 and press 0 to speak to the front desk.
