Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 3:00pm. Please arrive at least 15-30 minutes prior to the ceremony to park, mingle, & find your seat.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Semi-Formal. For women, we'd recommend midi to full length dresses with heels that will be comfortable on grass. Men should wear suits with tie optional.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! There is plenty of parking at Riata Ranch. If you have to leave your car overnight, no problem! You are free to pick it up the next day.

Can I Uber or Lyft to the wedding?

Answer

Yes, it should be relatively easy to call a ride-share to Riata Ranch, since it is just fifteen minutes from San Luis Obispo. Ride-shares in San Luis Obispo are somewhat limited, so we do suggest calling one early to the venue, or scheduling one in advance. However, we recommend taking the shuttle back from the Ranch to San Luis Obispo after the reception, as the remote nature of the venue may make it difficult to secure an Uber or Lyft.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

We have hotel blocks reserved at Quality Suites Downtown San Luis Obispo & The Wayfarer San Luis Obispo for our guests. Please check the Travel page of our website for more details. There are also plenty of other hotels in San Luis Obispo to stay in if you choose not to book at Quality Suites or The Wayfarer.
