This is the location of our reception, but there is tons more going on! The Cross Overlook is one of the highest points in Fayetteville and faces west for a sunset view over downtown. We can help you get a day pass to the gym on campus or open Sequoyah Hall so you can see the art exhibit.
The Death Ray Illustration Expo will be running on the same campus as the reception from 10A-4P! If you are interested in seeing an expo full of local art, come by and browse the wares. Folks are encouraged to wear halloween costumes to the expo so it is quite a sight! Free entry.
A perfect Saturday morning before the wedding in our minds: visiting Little Bread for a bialy, walking to the Farmer's Market from Little Bread, and then going back to Mount Sequoyah to hike the 1.25 mile long Sequoyah Woods Trail.
Onyx is the local fancy coffee roaster. There's a location in Fayetteville, but the Rogers one is a destination. You can loop this stop in with a day trip to Crystal Bridges and the Daisy BB Gun Museum. Otherwise, do try to make it to the Fayetteville location. The coffee really is that good.
This 37 mile walking/biking trail takes you through Northwest Arkansas. Because a lot of greenspace has been preserved, at times you'll feel like you are outside of town on this trail! A recommended section is from the Fayetteville Public Library to the entertainment district of Dickson Street to Wilson Park.
This shop is a delightful maze of old books. You could spend hours browsing through the towering shelves. A fun book-centered day would consist of parking at the public library, checking out the views from the library's cafe, and then walking the razorback greenway to Dickson Street and getting lost in the Bookshop's stacks. Afterwards, head down Block and check out Hugo's Burgers and Crepes.
Haley's tuxedo cat is named after this bar. This used to be a dive bar in our parents' day, but now the bar has won national attention as one of America's best bars in Esquire magazine. Dark interior, fancy cocktails, and steps away from Hugo's, another longtime local favorite.
