Hayden came home on a Friday night and told me to pack a bag, anyone that knows Haley knows that means a million questions were to follow. Once we were on the way to our mystery destination he stopped in Auburn at the restaurant we had our first date. Once dinner was over we hopped back in the car and we’re heading to Columbus. Hayden said why don’t we go downtown and get some ice cream... he had me at ice. So we went to Kilwins and got some ice cream then headed down to the riverwalk. As we were walking fireworks started to go off, they were so beautiful and unexpected. We sat down on a bench to watch the show (that Haley thought was impromptu ... it was not.) As we sat there Hayden began talking about our lives together and both of us about how happy we are together. Then out of no where Hayden is trying to get down on one knee with the most beautiful little box Haley has ever seen. Then as if it were a dream Hayden asked Haley to be his wife, all she could do is look at the box and back to Hayden, this repeated for over a minute... Hayden then reminded Haley that she needed to give him an answer. There was no doubt in her mind whatsoever. Yes, Yes forever.

For us it was love at first like. Thats right we both swiped right and the rest is history. We talked for about a month then Hayden pulled the trigger and asked for a date. We met half way in Auburn unbenounced to us almost everything was closed for the holiday. Once we both made it to a restaurant that was open it was fireworks in the parking lot. We have been together ever since, so the Fourth of July will always be a special time of the year for us!
