On July 17, 2022, Haley and Barrett opted for a private ceremony with family friend Michael Olson officiating. It was a beautiful, peaceful and relaxed day by the coast. Now, they are excited to celebrate with friends and family!

Barrett was jaded by the prospect of yet another online date, but found himself intrigued by Haley's handstand photo, surrounded by walls of books. Perhaps she looked at the world from a different angle than the rest of us. She suggested that they meet at a Consciousness Hacking event, to which she already had tickets. Barrett thought that was a super unique idea, possibly controversial, and definitely not boring. He remembers following Haley in a beautiful floral yellow dress up a flight of stairs to a dark corner where the two of them spent the rest of the evening deep in conversation. The virtual reality demos, tea readings, and musings on mindfulness faded into background noise. ... Haley and Barrett's adventures have encompassed: * A secret New Year's trip to Oaxaca * Staying in an Airstream in Yosemite * Climbing the cables at Half Dome * Running out of charge in a snowstorm near Sierra-at-Tahoe * Hitting a guardrail in that same snowstorm * Hoisting their skis over their shoulders to hike over to the black-diamond backsides of Alpine * Hauling a hammock into SkyHy Ranch * Barely making it to Timber Cove on a coastal trip south * Car camping on a remote road near Ukiah * Soaking in the sulphurous springs of Orr in Mendocino * Car camping facing the Pacific in what was surely someone's Bolinas backyard * Imagining triceratops following them down the prehistoric and epic Fern Canyon (Humboldt County) * A particularly blustery trip up Twin Peak * Visits to Harley Goat Farms to greet Tony the Pig * Many yoga classes where Barrett perfected his form through the whispered encouragement of Haley * Getting engaged in Big Sur, overlooking the ocean at Post Ranch Inn, followed by a stay at a Hip Camp in Carmel Valley * Taking engagement photos at Sonoma Lavender Farm with two Alpacas who kept spitting on Barrett * Soaking in the mineral waters of Esalen * Biking in Northern Italy with a view of the Dolomites * Stand-up paddle boarding through caves in Portugal * Surviving 110 degree heat at Burning Man * Eloping in Sea Ranch, CA in a peaceful ceremony at the Sea Ranch Chapel, also known as the "Wizard Hat House" * And so many more to come.. … We are so excited to share our love for adventure and each other with you this summer at Chabot Space & Science Center!
