Our Story
Our story starts in fall 2018 when Matthew and I met on the Wisconsin Track Club at UW-Madison. After talking at club practices and events that fall, we started dating on November 8th and have spent the last 7+ years going through our biggest life changes together.
In 2022, we moved in together near our favorite spot in Madison, Vilas Park. It was an amazing year for us as we spent our time enjoying Madison after college.
The following year, our lives pivoted as we moved to Minneapolis. Matthew was in grad school at the University of Minnesota and I began my first teaching job. That November, we adopted our dog, Juno, and we have grown immensely as a couple while raising her.
On September 7th, 2024, Matthew surprised me by proposing at Vilas Park while we were in Madison for a “Badger game” with my family! Fast forward to the present: we are still doing our favorite things together - running, going to breweries, having dance parties in our kitchen, and loving our Juno girl.
