Split, Croatia

The easiest and best airport to fly into is Split (SPU). Note the airport is only 10 minutes away from the town of Trogir and 25 minutes away from the port of Split. Ubers, Taxis, and Rental Cars are available from the airport. Alternatively, you can fly into Dubrovnik first. To make it to Split, the options are: (i) 3 hour drive via an inland highway (rental car) (ii) 4.5 hour drive via the coastal roads - think PCH views (rental car) (iii) 3.5 hour ferry from Dubrovnik to Hvar directly (bypassing Split)

Ferry from Split to Hvar

Suncani Hotel Guests: Please arrange your transfer directly with Suncani Hotels! This will provide you will the most seamless transfer from the airport to Hvar. Email transfers@suncanihvar.com to arrange your transfer to Hvar directly from the airport. Other options: Take a taxi or shuttle from Split Airport to the Split Ferry Port – approximately 30 minutes. Board a ferry or catamaran to Hvar Town – travel time 1–2 hours depending on vessel. Main Ferry Operators include Jadrolinija, Krilo, and TP Line. We highly recommend booking ferries in advance, especially in September.

Private speedboat transfers are available directly from Split Airport or Split Port. Travel time approximately 60 minutes. Ideal for groups or guests arriving on similar flights. Recommended transfer providers will be shared closer to the event.

Getting Around Hvar

Hvar Town is charming, compact, & incredibly walkable. Most hotels, restaurants, & the marina are within a 10–15 minute walk. Streets are cobblestone, so comfortable footwear is recommended.
