We met through one of my best friends (now my maid of honor). Chandler had begun working at Vanderbilt and met my best friend Tracy at the hospital. She knew immediately that we needed to meet! We met up at Chuy’s in Nashville then followed dinner up with an escape game. I was immediately drawn to his sense of humor! From that day forward, we have been inseparable.
On a warm day in June, Chandler and I went with his sister to take couples pictures in Nashville. We ended up searching the city for the perfect photography spot and ended up on Belmont’s campus. We strolled through the garden, hand in hand, while his sister took several pictures. We walked up to an old gazebo in the gardens where we stood back to back for a picture. When I turned around, he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him! I was so excited I couldn’t even speak! The months have flown by since that day, and now we cannot wait to share our big day with you!
In light of recent events, we have had to reduce the number of guests for everyone’s safety. We still want to celebrate with everyone, and will be utilizing Facebook live during the ceremony. Tune in to Meghan’s Facebook at 4pm central time on the big day to join in the celebration! For those who will celebrate in person: please monitor for any symptoms the week leading up to the wedding. If you do not feel well, let us know. We will still love to celebrate with you online! For our guests 65 years and older or those with health risks: if you decide to join us, please wear a mask and try to comply with social distancing guidelines to the best of your ability. We look forward to seeing all of you!
