Can I stay off the resort and purchase a day pass to attend the wedding?

Answer

Yes, guests not staying at Royalton Splash may request to purchase a resort day pass; however, day passes are not guaranteed and are subject to resort availability, capacity limits, and approval on the day of the event. Day pass guests may have restricted access, must follow strict entry and exit times, and are not guaranteed access to all wedding events or resort amenities. Fees are paid directly to the resort, valid ID is required, and all resort rules apply. If day passes are unavailable, entry to the resort will be denied. For guaranteed access and the smoothest experience, staying at the wedding resort is strongly recommended.

When are payments due for the resort accommodations?

If you booked your resort stay through destinationweddings.com, you should receive an invoice from Carrie Oztas. If you don’t, please contact her. Guests can make payments directly through the invoice link, no login required. 50% Balance due by 1/19/2026 Full Balance Due by 3/5/2026

Is transportation provided from the airport?

Answer

Yes! If you used our booking link to reserve your accommodations, ground transportation from the airport to the resort will be arranged by our wedding specialist closer to the wedding date.

Yes! A valid passport is required for travel to Mexico. Please check your passport is valid for at least 6 months after our wedding date.

What should I wear to the wedding?

Answer

Our wedding will take place outdoors at 5:00 PM and, while it is in a beach destination, the ceremony will not be directly on the sand. We recommend beach formal attire elevated, stylish, and comfortable for a warm outdoor setting. For women, this could include flowy dresses, cocktail dresses, or elegant resort wear with dressy sandals or heels. For men, linen suits, dress shirts with slacks, or lightweight suits with loafers or dress shoes are great options. Think dress to impress while staying comfortable in a tropical climate. Light, breathable fabrics are encouraged. We can’t wait to see everyone looking their best as we celebrate together!
