Are kids invited?

Answer

We love your kids—we really do. But we want our wedding to be your night off! We are booking a couple of babysitters to make that a reality. Call or text Haleigh at 678-468-4291 if you are interested in booking the on-site babysitter.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We are trying to keep our wedding as intimate as possible. If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you.

What Is the Dress Code?

Answer

Beach Semi-Formal or Beach Dressy Casual, please! But we want you to feel comfortable, so if those shoes are too high or that top button is too tight, let it all hang loose. :)

What will the weather be like this time of year on Jekyll Island?

Answer

Historically on October 2nd, there is a high of 81* and a low of 67*. We will be very close to the beach so there should be a nice breeze for the outdoor ceremony!

Where are the ceremony and the reception taking place?

Answer

The ceremony is taking place in the outdoor pavilion, the cocktail hour will take place indoors and the reception will take place indoors all at the Jekyll Island Convention Center!

What is the size of the wedding?

Answer

At this time, we are expecting between 60-70 guests. We will keep you posted if it changes!

Do I need to wear a mask?

Answer

While it’s not a requirement for our wedding, we completely understand and respect any guests who may wish to wear a mask on the day. We will be providing masks at the venue for those who did not bring their own.

Will alcohol be served?

Answer

Beer and wine will be served during cocktail hour and the reception at an open bar.

Will a meal be served?

Answer

We are serving butler-pass appetizers during the cocktail hour and a buffet-style meal during the reception.

Am I allowed to take my own photos of the wedding?

Answer

We ask that you please not take photos during the ceremony as we have hired an amazing photographer to capture these moments! However, please feel free to take photos during the cocktail hour and reception and tag us on social media.
