Colin, the best man, has been a part of Ethan’s life since they were kids, and their bond has only grown stronger over the years. From playing on different baseball teams—where they jokingly called him “Tank” for being a solid catcher—to reconnecting in high school at Merrimack, their friendship has stood the test of time. Even though they didn’t always attend the same schools, they remained close, sharing good memories like working together at Glacier Car Wash. Colin has always been there through the ups and downs, offering unwavering support no matter the situation. He’s not just the best man—he’s Ethan’s best friend, and always will be.

To my favorite niece with the fiercest personality, I remember the day you were born like it was yesterday, and I cherish all the special moments we’ve shared since. From the Auntie and Penelope bonding sessions to the car rides, dropping you off at Pre-K while jamming to Taylor Swift (and almost getting hit by sprinklers in the process, of course!), every memory is a treasure. Our donut and library dates, the endless hours of LEGO and block building — these moments are some of my favorites. I can’t think of anyone else who would be a better flower girl for my special day. You hold such a special place in my heart, and I’m so grateful to have you by my side today. Auntie loves you more than words can say!

To my sweetest nephew, Maverick, I remember the day you were born like it was just yesterday, and from that moment on, you’ve been the coolest and snuggliest little boy I could ever ask for. Watching you grow and spending time with you through all sorts of adventures has been such a joy. Chelsea and I first met while teaching Science at LCA. She was fun, quirky, and full of life — truly a bright spark in every room. Although our paths drifted apart for a while, fate reunited us at the BEE, and I am so incredibly thankful it did! I honestly don’t know how I would have made it through the 7th grade team without her by my side. She has been the supportive, hilarious, and loyal bestie I've always needed in a teaching partner. I am beyond grateful not just to call her my teaching partner and best friend, but now to have her as my bridesmaid. Thank you for everything, Chelsea. I’m so lucky to have you in my life.

Robert Flohr and I met while working together as court officers at the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office, and from day one, we shared a bond built on trust, laughter, and resilience. That job came with its challenges, but Rob’s sense of humor and steady presence helped turn even the toughest days into lasting memories. As our careers took different paths—me becoming a police officer and Rob moving on to Fidelity—our friendship only grew stronger, extending well beyond the workplace. Rob has always had my back, offering support through the highs and lows, and sharing wisdom when I needed it most. Whether we’re swapping stories from our time in uniform, laughing about the times I had to pull him over, or out on the golf course (where he still outdrives me every time), Rob continues to be a great friend, a great father to his son Aiden, and someone I’m proud to have by my side.

Kevin Kitt became part of my life through family, as my future brother-in-law, and quickly became someone I deeply respect and look up to. When I began my journey in life insurance, Kevin guided me through the early stages at New York Life and continues to mentor me now at Patriot Family Insurance. Though our friendship is still growing, it already feels like a bond between brothers—one built on trust, support, and shared family values. Through struggles in school, on and off the field in baseball and basketball, and even during his time as a police officer, she stood by him with unwavering love and encouragement. Her strength, kindness, and patience have shaped Ethan into the man he is today. Margaret is a truly wonderful woman, and her love continues to inspire Ethan to be his best every day.

Harold Brodell, my father, has been one of the greatest influences in my life and the role model I’ve always looked up to. Originally from Long Island, New York, he’s a funny, hard-working man who taught me everything from how to fish at our family’s place on Grand Lake right outside of Princeton, Maine, to how to be respectful, driven, and kind. He spent over 30 years running Ace Printing Company, and through that, I learned what it means to be a good businessman and how to treat people with dignity and care. Even when I chose a path unfamiliar to our family—becoming a police officer—he stood by me without hesitation, offering unwavering support. Though I may be stronger than him now and had to teach him how to shoot, I’ll always look up to him for the strength, love, and life lessons he’s given me.
