We may not have done things the traditional way, but our story sure is interesting. A guy from California and a girl from Maine walk into a bar...and meet in Nevada. Our first date was at a tiny Thai restaurant in the middle of Carson City, Nevada. Sparks flew and our journey began. We started with adopting 1 dog...then a 2nd...then a cat, and then we found out we were having a baby! The non-hairy kind. After driving all the way across the country with the entire crew and our whole lives packed up, we settled in Charleston, SC where we have stayed since. (Thankfully we're done with the moving boxes for now) Our beautiful, perfect angel baby was born in November 2023, and on Mother's Day of 2024 Cooper (finally) proposed! The newborn phase came and went, and kicked our butts. Now that we finally have the energy to plan this, we are getting married! In the wise words of Lizzo, it's about damn time.
