Lodging

The lodging close to the venue, aside from Chestnut Bay and AirBNBs, is motel-quality. If you choose to stay out of the immediate area, I recommend you stay in Fort Payne, AL or Gadsden, AL. Both locations are approximately a 30-minute drive. Bride/Groom sendoff is at ~10:00pm if that gives you an idea of when you would be driving back from the wedding.

House Or Rental

Chesnut Bay Resort

This location can be pricey on your own. I highly recommend you share a house with another family or friends that are attending the wedding! It can be super affordable if you split the bill! This location is right on the water and ~10 minutes from the venue! For ease and convenience, I highly recommend! **Reservations can be made a year in advance and fill up fast.

Flight

Atlanta International Airport

It may be easiest for flights to come to and from Atlanta if you're looking for a limited amount of stops/layovers. The drive from that airport to the venue is ~2 hours long. Keep in mind that there is a time change. Atlanta is EST and an hour ahead of the wedding location.

Flight

Birmingham Airport

Birmingham is ~1 hour and a half from the wedding venue. The airport is much easier to navigate and the drive is easier. However, Birmingham is smaller and the likelihood of a stop/layover for your flight is higher than Atlanta.

Rental Car

Airports

The venue is in a more rural area and there is no rental car company within half an hour. If you are flying and wish to have a rental car, your best bet is to do a round-trip reservation from the airport.
