We're getting Married!

It was in the winter of 2015. We met at the Manchester, New Hampshire Airport, in a cramped, dusty old rental car booth (So, romantic huh?). Vince and I both worked for Enterprise-Rent-A Car out of college. We both were selected to be a part of the company’s best of the best program and were transferred to the Manchester Airport. I had already been working there a couple months when I heard we were getting a “new guy”. Rumor had it, he was very nice, and especially handsome. Needless to say, I was very eager to meet the “new guy”. Our time spent at the Airport are memories we will never forget! Our jobs required early mornings and late nights due to the demanding schedule which is where our relationship took flight. Vin and I were growing not only on a career level, but a personal one too! Our dynamic quickly grew into a friendship and shortly after that we both realized our friendship had turned into something much more! Our beginning in New Hampshire are some of our most favorite memories. From our first cozy, 900 square foot apartment, and even the frigid New England winters! Now, almost 5 years later, an added 4-legged family member, a new state, and a home purchase we are so ready to say I do in front of all of you!

It was Thanksgiving Day in Chelmsford Massachusetts. Em, Boe, and I had traveled north to be with my family for the holiday. I had planned to pop the big question leading up to Thanksgiving, so I had some time to prepare. I had the ring, a plan, and even made sure Em got her nails done with my Aunt Jen before I got down on a knee. I was beyond nervous the entire morning. Emily was surprised when I was getting so dressed up for the day, as I am normally in a comfy, particularly larger fitting pair of pants on Thanksgiving Day. Little did she know what was about to happen! As we all sat down for Thanksgiving dinner, I cleared my throat, and announced I wanted to say a little something before we ate. After fumbling through my words, I somehow managed to get out “will you marry me!” and the rest is history!
