Shawn and Ha Jung met at the University of Washington in Seattle, where they were familiar faces in the same social circles but never really had the chance to get to know each other. That changed in 2019, when casual Snapchat messages somehow turned into daily conversations, inside jokes, and eventually something much more. By January 2020, just before the world shut down, they had officially found their way into each other's hearts. Through the ups and downs of the pandemic, their relationship grew stronger as Shawn joined Ha Jung and her dog, Ollie, creating the little family you all know and love today. In 2021, they took a big leap together and moved to California for Shawn's optometry school journey, and ever since, life has been one exciting adventure after another.
