What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/cocktail attire. Think cocktail dresses or a suit and tie or a sports coat.

Where are the ceremony and the reception taking place?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will take place at Chicago Gaelic Park (6119 147th St. Oak Forest, Il 60452).

What will the weather be like this time of year? Will the Ceremony be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

December in Chicago… could be 70 and sunny, could be -25 with a snow storm. Good news is the ceremony and reception will take place indoors at the same venue!

What happens after the Ceremony before the Reception?

Answer

After the ceremony, the wedding party and bride and groom’s families will be taking pictures nearby. Guest can stay in the reception hall where we will be serving finger foods and beverages during a cocktail hour.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Help us get the party started as scheduled! We recommend that you arrive fifteen to twenty minutes before the start of the ceremony to make sure everyone is seated on time.

Where should guests park? Is parking free?

Answer

There is a parking lot with additional parking on the side of the building if necessary. Parking is free.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.

Do you have a hotel block for guests? Where do you recommend I stay?

Answer

We will have a block of rooms, all the information on how to book those rooms as well as options for other hotels in the area are located on the website under “Travel.”

When is the RSVP deadline? Do I need to mail back my RSVP or can I do it online?

Answer

Formal invitations will be sent out in October. Thank you in advance for sending your RSVP before November 30th. You can simply RSVP right here on our wedding website!

Question

Will transportation be provided between the to and from the hotel, ceremony and reception?

Answer

Yes there will be transportation provided for those guests choosing to stay in the blocks of rooms we have reserved. The Shuttle is leaving the Wyndham and Holiday Inn at 6:30pm to go to the Wedding Venue, shuttle will then be available to go back and forth to either of the hotels until 2am. $10 Uber Vouchers are also available for rides to or from the wedding through the following link: https://r.uber.com/rehWODk8alS Or enter the following code on your app: rehWODk8alS
