Can I bring a date?

If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes. If not, we would prefer if it was just you.

Is it a cash bar?

It is indeed. The venue accepts both cash and (most) credit cards.

Is there parking?

Answer

It's always better to Uber when you're drinking, and you will be drinking. Make Uber your FIRST option. But, yes, there is parking. The lovely people at the Cartel Rooftop recommend parking off Bree, Buitengracht or Riebeeck Streets. There is also a public parking lot on the corner of Buitengracht & Waterkant Streets where you can walk across the Fan Bridge to the venue.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yup! There certainly is! "Cocktail Attire" means you get to zhoosh up, don a fancy outfit and celebrate in style. Wear cocktail dresses, LBDs, dressy jumpsuits, and dark jackets and slacks. NO jeans or denim, pretty please... or you're getting a bottle of tequila as a fine, on arrival.

Does the party really end at 00h00?

We're afraid it does... But, depending on how fresh everyone is feeling an 'after after party' could be attempted. #justsaying

Will food be served?

Answer

We recommend lining your tummy before the festivities but there will be some snacks served to fuel you up for the rest of the night.
