Shuttles will be provided to and from the wedding. Pick-up and drop-off points will be Montreal Beach Resort, Marquis de Lafayette, and La Mer Beachfront Resort.
Weather permitting, both the welcome party and the wedding ceremony will be outdoors. The reception will be under an open-air tent on the water.
In early June, the average temperature in Cape May typically ranges from a high of 75°F to a low of 68°F. Both the welcome party and the wedding are on the water so expect a nice breeze! The water temperature will be warming up as well, making it a good time for enjoying the beaches.
The attire for Friday night is coastal cocktail, think cocktail attire with a breezy twist—flowy dresses, dressy jumpsuits, linen shirts, and lightweight blazers. Feel free to leave the stilettos at home in favor of wedges or dressy sandals. We’ll be celebrating seaside, so a light a layer is recommended in case it gets breezy.
The wedding attire is formal. For the gentlemen, a suit is recommended and for the ladies, long dresses are encouraged, though feel free to choose whatever formal style you feel most comfortable in. The venue is on the water, so a light layer is recommended in case it gets breezy.
We recommend booking as soon as you know you will be celebrating with us, especially if you plan to opt for a rental as those tend to get booked quickly. All hotel room blocks are open for booking at this time.
Although we love your little ones, this will be an adults only event. In order to maintain the intimacy of our wedding, please refer to your online RSVP for plus ones/guest accommodations.
