How We Met

4.1.17

Seth and Emily's story started at Globe Life Park in Arlington during a Texas Rangers game. They were introduced through mutual friends, Rachel-who was working with Emily on the Ranger's Six Shooters promotional team, and Alec-who was watching the game with Seth. Rachel and Emily brought Alec and Seth free food, before performing the Cotton-Eyed Joe on the dugouts during the 7th inning stretch. Seth likes to joke that when Emily brought him food and "danced for him," he instantly knew she would be his wife. Emily jokes that she took a little more convincing. 1 year, 4 months, and 4 days later, they would FINALLY go on their first date, and the rest is history!

The Proposal

10.24.19

Seth was sure to make the proposal a complete surprise for Emily, which proved to be incredibly easy because she never questioned the story. Her family said they were going to her mom's work party at Globe Life Park before it completely closed for construction, and that her Uncle Ian would be there to take pictures of the progress made so far. When they arrived, a Park employee met them at the gate and took them on a miniature tour, ending where Seth, his family, and Denise (Emily's best friend's mom who was hiding to take pictures) were waiting. Emily was totally shocked to see Seth there, and instantly knew he brought her back to where it all started to ask her to be his wife.
