Travel Note

STAYING ON OUR LAND!

We would love it if our guests would come camp, or stay in one of our accommodations. It would allow us to stay up late around a campfire, chatting, playing/listening to music, roasting marshmallows, and celebrating our marriage with you. You are even welcome to stay the whole weekend. We have some fun outings planned for those who choose to hang around. In addition, the hotel and nearest town is an hour away, so this might be the best option for some of you. We also know that some of you are flying in, and may not be able to bring camping gear with you. We would love to offer some of our accommodations to those of you who would appreciate it. Please reach out to us directly if this applies to you, and we can let you know what we still have available and make sure it is set up for you.

Hilton Garden Inn Trinidad Downtown

This is the newest hotel in Trinidad, however, there are MANY hotels, motels, and houses for rent in and around Trinidad. ZOLA gave me this link that supposedly gets you the best rates, but I would do your own research before booking anything. https://zola.hotelplanner.com/EventPage7773743 Another near, but more remote option, is Stonewall CO. This is for those who want a more "in the gorgeous mountains, no service, cabin resort" type feel, without the camping. It is next to Monument and North Lake, where there is fishing, hiking, and boating.

Flight

Denver International Airport

Denver is 4 hours away, while Colorado Springs is 2.5 from Trinidad. However, flying into Colorado Springs may be more expensive. It is worth checking out both options.
