We’re Getting Married!

We first met on a bus that takes all the kids to and from church. It was on the ride home that we first talked. I noticed Xavier, how could you not with what he was wearing. He was wearing a bright red hat that had Elmo’s face on it, he also had something on his ear. I asked him why his ear was like that and he just looked at me and told me to leave him alone. I then called his hat stupid. Keep in mind we were 8 years old… now look at us! Somehow we are here getting married, so I’m glad I called his hat stupid. - Hailey
