Downtown
Downtown Tucson offers a vibrant mix of historic sites, cultural attractions, dining, and nightlife. It’s an ideal spot for guests looking to experience the heart of the city. The three main sections of downtown are: Congress, Fourth Ave, and Main Gate (University Blvd). The Sun Link Streetcar connects all of downtown and is a great way to explore without worrying about parking.
The Tucson Rodeo - La Fiesta De Los Vaqueros
The Tucson Rodeo is considered the largest outdoor winter rodeo in the United States. The official name is La Fiesta de los Vaqueros, which means "Celebration of the Cowboys." The first Tucson Rodeo was held in 1925, making it more than 100 years old and one of Southern Arizona's oldest community traditions. The Tucson Rodeo Parade is known as the world's longest non-motorized parade, featuring horses, wagons, marching groups, and riders. The rodeo occurs Feb 20-28. The parade is Thursday Feb 25th at 9am.
