What should I wear?

Answer

Is "general summer wedding cocktail attire" a thing? I hope so. Regardless, we really recommend against high heels because you'll be standing to take the aerial tram, and then there are rock stairs to access the site and all the #views. It's not a hike, but I can't promise that our liability insurance covers 200 broken ankles. Otherwise, we will likely be dancing outside under the stars, and there are heat lamps, but consider bringing a light sweater if you're of the sleeveless-dress-wearing variety!

Will there be a shuttle to and from the wedding venue?

Answer

We do not have a shuttle service, however Lyft and Uber are common in South Lake to get you to the base of the Tram. For those with cars, parking is allowed overnight so long as your car is removed the next day (August 2nd) by 11:00am!

Can I Uber and Lyft in Reno/Tahoe?

Answer

Yes! Ride services like Uber and Lyft are common in Reno and Lake Tahoe!

Can I leave my car in the parking lot overnight after the wedding?

Answer

Yes! However, ALL cars must be removed by 11:00am the next day.

Do I have to pay to park at the beaches?

Answer

Most beaches generally charge between $8 to $10 per vehicle, although there are some free ones as well! We advise you check before you go and have cash on hand if there is a cost for parking!

Can I bring drinks to the beach?

Answer

Some beaches permit alcoholic beverages, but not all! Again, we encourage you to check before you go! NO beaches allow glass bottles, so stick to cans or other containers!

Will there be any group activities or events outside of the wedding day?

Hailey & Teddy have rented a pavilion at Nevada Beach for Friday, August 2nd, and would love for you to come relax and hangout with them after they tie the knot! Anyone and everyone who attends our wedding is welcome to join! Please visit our "Things To Do" section for other recommendations on how to spend your time enjoying the area!

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Aw. We are registered on Zola which lets us combine gifts from different websites, and Bed, Bath, & Beyond if you prefer shopping in-store. As if planning a wedding wasn't enough for 2019, we are moving from our shoebox Manhattan apartment to Chicago, where we are thrilled to finally have an adult-sized refrigerator and a bed where Teddy's feet don't touch the other wall. So you'll notice that most things we are registered for are to build our new home together!

Why did Hailey decide to marry Teddy?
