The story of how Spencer and I met is actually a bit of a mystery. Neither of us remembers the exact moment we met for the first time. Lucas (Hailey's brother) and Spencer went to North Dakota State College of Science, NDSCS, in Wahpeton, where they met through the Diesel Mechanic program. Spencer thinks that one day Luke brought Cody Klayson (another college friend) and him over to the house in Underwood while I was home, and that's when we met. Honesty, I only remember Cody coming over, lol. We eventually became acquaintances, hanging out with other friends here and there. He was pretty shy at first, but I could tell he liked me. Eventually, Spencer worked up the courage to start talking to me, and we became friends. At the time, I was dead set on only being this guy's friend. Of course, I eventually came around and accepted I had feelings for him after spending time together one-on-one and talking more. Spencer was kind enough to ask Luke for permission to ask me to be his girlfriend, and Luke surprisingly told him he could. After that, the rest is history - and here we are, getting married five years later!
