Things To Do

Summit County is a destination spot for many, so we are excited to share some of what Summit has to offer! We hope you crunch in some time to enjoy the mountains! Dillon, Silverthorne, Frisco, Keystone, and Breckenridge are mountain towns surrounding Lake Dillon, and all are worthy towns to check out.
Lower Cataract Lake

One of Hailey's favorites. Lower Cataract Lake is a pristine, natural body of water located in the Eagle’s Nest Wilderness section of the White River National Forest, west of Heeney, Colorado. Found within the northern Gore Range, Lower Cataract Lake is about halfway between Kremmling and Silverthorne in Summit County. Lower Cataract Lake is a popular location to see summer wildflowers and waterfalls alongside dramatic mountain views. To reach Lower Cataract Lake, visitors are required to walk along a short path for a full view of the water.
