Hailey's Perspective Of The First Date

We Met On Hinge.

Yes, it actually worked! A week after downloading the app, I came across a profile for "Mike Tindle." I instantly wanted to connect with him; his profile was funny and witty, just like Michael is. His profile read, "Looking for a wife." I swiped right immediately! (You should ask him when he came across my profile – he swiped left on me initially!). Once we finally connected later that day, we awkwardly exchanged phone numbers on Hinge. Mike asked if I was busy that night (it was summertime, and I was a preschool teacher at the time) – of course, I was free. He invited me to a concert at Big Night Live. I excitedly said yes, even though he mentioned it was an EDM show and asked if I was okay with it. Little did he know, I was even more excited! Nervously getting dressed to go out, I told my mom I was going out with someone from Hinge (first hinge date ever). As I put on my shoes, my mom said, "He's here," as she peeked out the window and looked downstairs. Mike ended up getting out of his car and waiting outside for me. I've never seen my mom so excited; she insisted i get down there and meet this person "Hailey He's so cute " direct quote from my mom 2 seconds after seeing Michael from the window. Big night live was everything you imagine it was definitely a good show "NGHTMARE" was the artist was ended up seeing. The real date was the beach the day after we made plans. We were off and it was honestly that evening that I knew we were going to be something special, I found my best friend. The conversation just flowed and fit in ways I've never experienced before meeting Mike. I couldn't have asked for a better person to spend the rest of my life with. I'm so glad I swiped right.

Michael's Perspective Of The First Date

We did in fact meet on Hinge!

Yes, a true 2024 love story. It was a slow Friday afternoon in the DraftKings corporate office. I opened up Hinge and mindlessly started swiping. Unfortunately it is true that I initially swiped no on my soon to be wife (I was so used to swiping no repeatedly on seemingly endless women of the larger variety). The second I saw Hailey's profile slip away I knew I had made a grave mistake. I immediately closed the app and accepted defeat until about 20 minutes later I got a notification "New Like From Hailey". I opened it up to see the girl I accidentally swiped no on had sent me a like. I was hyped and messaged her right away asking if she would want to go to the concert with me. About 3 hours after texting Hailey for the first time we met in person and it was an instant connection, I felt like I had known her my whole life. It's very rare that you meet someone for the first time and there is nothing awkward about it, you just know you're right where you're supposed to be. The concert was great. It was the kind of EDM show that would scare most people away yet Hailey was jumping around with the biggest smile on her face the whole time. I knew I had to get to know her more so right after the concert we made plans to go to the beach the next day and that sealed the deal, spending nearly every single day together since then. Hailey quickly became my best friend and I'm so happy we get to keep spending every single day together for the rest of our lives!
