Hailey was born and raised in the biggest little city Reno, Nevada. Her passion growing up was all-star cheerleading which lead to cheering for the University of Nevada. There she got her undergraduate degree in Biology.

Matt is from sunny Southern California. His love was playing baseball along with his brothers Jeff and Danny. Matt attended Pepperdine University on a baseball scholarship. Matt received his undergraduate degree in Psychology.

Hailey and Matt's paths crossed while they were both attending the University of the Pacific Dental school in San Francisco. They started out as friends, but one day in September 2019, Matt invited Hailey to go to a Dierks Bentley concert with him and a group of friends. As it turns out, they were the only ones that made it to that concert. As they say, the rest is history.

Matt proposed to Hailey while on a quick trip to visit in January 2022. They hiked up to a beautiful spot overlooking Lake Tahoe and he popped the question. She of course said Yes! They celebrated with an impromptu engagement party in Reno.

Today Hailey and Matt are both practicing dentistry while living across the country from one another. Hailey in Reno, and Matt practicing for the Navy in South Carolina. They are over the moon excited to start their life together and are so grateful to share this next chapter with their family and friends... Cheers to the future Dr. & Dr. Gelalich!
