This place is amazing! Not only does it have an amazing rooftop view of the mountains it also has darts, corn hole, live music, duck pin, bowling, food, drinks, and more!!!!
If you get the chance to see a concert it is a must! Even great for casual hiking with the trails around it as well as walking around the amphitheater itself. Located in the foothills, you can overlook downtown Denver on a clear day.
A little bit of a hike from us but well worth the drive to take a day up there and hike around. You need a pass to get into the forest so if you plan on visiting, book your reservation in advance. Our favorite hike is up to Emerald Lake (you also need a $2 parking pass to get there because its very popular) it's also a reasonably easy hike.
A great breakfast/brunch place super close to the hotel with amazing food!
Great food and great beer near the foothills with an awesome outdoor patio. (Also next to carboy winery 😉) Manny recommends the smoked wings and Juice Drop IPA.
