Taking this story all the way back to 2019, where Malec and Hailey met at our best man, Ethan's graduation party. Malec and Ethan grew up together in Nebraska, then Ethan moved to Colorado, our junior year of high school. Ethan ended up going to the same high school as Hailey in Colorado, where they ended up becoming friends. Fast forward to our graduation, Malec came down for Ethan's Graduation Party where that night, Malec got introduced to Hailey. Malec went back to Nebraska the next day, but kept in touch with Hailey. 6 months later, Hailey moved to Nebraska to be with Malec. They lived together in an apartment until 2023, where they found the perfect house! Skip forward to September 2024, where Malec and Hailey went on a vacation to Colorado. They decided to find any and every different hiking spots. After finding the perfect spot in the hiking trail, Malec got down on one knee and asked Hailey "would you marry me?" Of course, Hailey said yes because she has been waiting for this day for ages!!
